Sunday, December 22 Special Music shared by the SPC Choir
On December 22nd, the SPC Choir, led by Noby Ishida, will perform Vivaldi’s Gloria during the worship service, accompanied by chamber orchestra. The opening strains of this celebratory work are taken from the song of the angels to the shepherds as they announce Jesus’ birth in Luke 2:14: “Gloria in excelsis Deo, et in terra pax!” (Glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace to people of good will!) We hope that you will join us as we anticipate the birth of the Christ child in this musical tribute.
