COOKS / COORDINATORS / “PICK UP” VOLUNTEER POSITIONS…
- Cook – Prepare 2 meals each month. Plan, cook and prepare with assistance. Some formal or on the job training in food production and quantity cooking is strongly preferred.
- Coordinator – 2 meals each month. Facilitate operation of soup kitchen: organize and assist cooks and team of volunteers to plan and gather supplies and food; setup and serve dinner; clean up. Requires leadership qualities including sense of humor.
- Pick Up – 2 mornings each month. Drive to local markets and other food establishments to transport large donations of groceries and supplies. Requires vehicle for transport.
The Deacons are looking for some volunteers to help out with the coffee hour. If you would like to provide baked goods for the coffee hour following the service please use the signup sheet in the fellowship hall. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
